Tatiana Maslany made her acting debut very early in her career. She was one of the main characters in the 2002 Canadian television series 2030 CE. In the 2004 movie Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed, she played the role of Ghost. For ten years, Maslany performed improvised comedy. Her involvement in improvisational theatre activities, such as the Canadian Improv Games, led to her joining the General Fools Improvisational Theatre. She is a licensed instructor of improvisation.
Maslany debuted in the CBC television series Heartland and had an appearance in The Messengers in 2007.
